Hey, Old Friends!

Hey, Old Friends! will be at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on 25^th October and features a star-studded line up including Imelda Staunton, Jamie Parker, Jenna Russell and Nicholas Parsons.  The event is also being staged in support of The Silver Line charity, founded by Dame Esther Rantzen OBE.

Among the other high-profile supporters who have recently offered their talents to the event are Britain's Got Talent star Alison Jiear, Olivier winner Tim Flavin, West End regular Liz Robertson, stage veteran Rula Lenska and Sunday in the Park with George star Daniel Evans. They join Imelda Staunton, Jamie Parker and Nicholas Parsons, who helped launch the Kickstarter campaign last month.

The Gala - entitled Hey! Old Friends - celebrates the 85th birthday of Stephen Sondheim, and is being staged in order to raise funds for The Silver Line, the new charity established by Dame Esther.

We've got less than two weeks to go and really need fans of Sondheim, and of musical theatre in general, to get pledging, says The Stephen Sondheim Society's Chairman, Craig Glenday. We're not asking for donations – we just want you to book your seat in advance, using Kickstarter, and help us reach our target. I hope that Michael and the other high-profile supporters will encourage their fans and followers to do the right thing and get booking now.
